The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, December 23 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will catch Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) in a smooch with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will give Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) an ultimatum. Plus, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will compliment Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). And Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will tell his parents Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) is missing.
Y&R spoilers tease Lily will talk about Traci’s late daughter Colleen. “My beautiful, creative and intelligent friend.” Traci will say she was grateful to have had Colleen in her life, even if it was for too short a time. Lily will admit her own kids won’t even come home for Christmas.

Traci will ask if it’s about Cane and she’ll wonder how things are going between them. “Things have gotten even more complicated,” Lily will reply, adding Cane was her plus one at the launch party. She’ll say they actually had fun together.
“It is okay to laugh and have fun, even with a charming jerk that gave you two beautiful children,” Traci will advise her. She’ll talk about Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) and tell Lily life is about moving on and being brave enough to try again. “Anything is possible.”
Traci will return home and find Diane fretting over Jabot and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). “You might just be the fighter this family needs,” Traci will tell her sister-in-law. “It is our new mission now to embrace the season and it is really important to fight for the things that matter most.”
On his choo choo train, Cane will call his kids, asking them to come home for their mother’s sake. Then Phyllis will show up and Cane won’t be friendly. “What do you want?” he’ll ask her. She’ll hand him a Christmas present and he’ll ask if it’s ticking. It’ll turn out to be a wooden puzzle.
“I regret walking away from you,” Phyllis will tell him. “We make a good team.” She’ll add that she needs him. “And I think you know you need me too.” Phyllis will offer to help him get payback on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Cane will ask what her plan is. “I’m gonna steal that AI software back and then we take over Newman Enterprises,” Phyllis will reply. Cane will ask how he’ll run Newman Enterprises and still watch the sunset. Phyllis will call him Aristotle and he’ll ask her not to.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Matt Asks His Friend If He’s Missed Him
“Why don’t you let Aristotle come out and play,” Phyllis will say. “Do you want to take over the world, with me?” She’ll lean over him and plant a kiss on his lips. Not surprisingly, Lily will come around the corner and her eyes will widen. But will this ruin any headway Cane’s made with Lily?
Meanwhile, a stressed out Nick will call Noah and leave him a message, saying they know Matt is in town. He’ll add the radio silence isn’t helping any. “I want Noah home, now!” Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will shout. Then Nick will get a call from his son. Noah will ask if Sienna’s there and his dad will say no. “I don’t know where she is,” Noah will admit.
Finally, Sharon and Nick will meet their son at Crimson Lights and he’ll say all he wants is to find his girlfriend. “Matt might have Sienna, if he gets her out of town, I might never see her again.” Nick will tell Noah Matt has no power in Genoa City. Then Noah’s phone will ring and he’ll answer. “Hey there friend, miss me?” Matt will ask.
He’ll demand to know where Sienna is and Matt will say she could be anywhere. “Let her go and take me instead,” Noah will foolishly reply. Then Sharon will grab the phone. “Leave my family alone, you hear me?!” she’ll shout. And Matt will hang up.
Noah will freak out and ask why Sharon would do something like that. Nick will intervene and say they need to force Matt’s hand. So, he’ll call him. “You may have a lot of cops in LA in your pocket but not here,” Nick will say to his nemesis. “I’m calling to give you a chance, I wanna make a deal.” But will Matt agree to one?
